Hello again!

There are three openings for my North Rim Grand Canyon Workshop October 1-5, 2017. A couple of larger cabins are available. This is a perfect time to witness the canyon beauty and golden aspens. Also, there are four openings for my Death Valley Workshop November 12-15, 2016. We will be photographing the full moon rise over the landscape! Rooms are included in the price.

The beginning of 2017 will be busy with workshops scheduled every month!

THE WINTER LANDSCAPE - EASTERN SIERRAS - FEBRUARY 17-20, 2017

Photographing winter landscapes can be one of the most difficult, yet rewarding types of photography. Whether you are shooting a wide landscape or a single snowflake, the less than ideal conditions can challenge even the most experienced photographer. We will strive to make a great photographs in what ever is presented to us; snow, fog, sun, or clouds. Adverse conditions can almost always lead to great photos. See my photo gallery on the website.

ROUTE 66 - THE MOTHER ROAD - MARCH 23-26, 2017

Come with me on my third annual workshop touring the sites along the old Mother Road - Route 66! We won’t be touring from Chicago to LA but we will be touring from Victorville CA. to Holbrook AZ!

MONUMENT VALLEY - FULL MOON RISING - APRIL 8-12, 2017

I've lost count how many times Ive been to Monument Valley and it still is one of my favorite places to photograph. We will photograph the full moon rise over the Mittens, Valley of the Gods, Muley Point, Anasazi Ruins “House on Fire” and much more.

NEVADA GHOST TOWNS - MAY 18-21, 2017

There are numerous other ghost towns and abandoned mines throughout the area of Esmeralda and Nye counties including Aurora, Belleville, Belmont, Berlin, Blair, Candelaria, Gold Point, Klondike, Manhattan, Metallic City, Rays, Silver Peak, Stateline, Weepah, and more. Some these towns are still populated and others barely exist. Goldfield itself has many photo attractions including the cemetery, the Goldfield Hotel, the active historic County Courthouse and numerous old buildings and houses. There is also The International Car Forest of the Last Church which is a hoot to photograph. Our home base will be in Tonopah which also has many attractions including the Historic Mining Park, the Mizpah Hotel and the WW2 wooden aircraft hangers at the airport. This class will sell out quickly.

Ive just scouted White Sands National Monument and will be scouting the Palouse next month. As soon as permits are secured I will be announcing the itineraries for both locations!
