The Eastern Sierras is an ideal place to shoot infrared. Infrared loves the sun, clouds and foliage, at least that is when you will get the best results.
I used a Nikon D800 converted to 720nm for the images taken at Mono Lake. I custom white balanced the camera to a bright green lawn. All the images are shot in RAW and processed in Lightroom and Nik Silver Efex.
I'll be leading another autumn trip to the Eastern Sierra this coming October 16-19. This is usually a sell out so sign up soon!
