I have scheduled a new Oregon Workshop - one that I've wanted to do for years! It is going to be a great chance to see and photograph "industrial" bridges, cityscapes, and the Northern Oregon Coast.
On August 19 we will meet in Portland Oregon and spend 2 days photographing some of the dozen unique bridges that span the Willamette River. Each bridge we will see is incomparable in character as they define the city in history and beauty. We will photograph them in conjunction with Portland's beautiful cityscape during the best light and and night.
From there we will journey 75 miles to Astoria Oregon. Staying with the bridge theme we will photograph the 4 mile long Astoria Bridge which spans the Columbia River. There are numerous great photo opportunities. We will also shoot the surrounding area including the Civil War era Fort Stevens, abandoned docks and a shipwreck.
I have also scheduled an October workshop to the Eastern Sierras scheduled so we can take advantage of the autumn aspen groves and dark skies for night photography.
There are a few openings for the Salton Sea. THE SALTON SEA - THE MAN MADE ACCIDENT - MARCH 20-22, 2015 . We will have dark skies for night photography.
Contact me if you are interested in MONUMENT VALLEY - May 16-20, 2015
The THIRD ANNUAL Grand Canyon North Rim Workshop is scheduled for Oct. 10-14, 2015 We will have dark skies for night photography and autumn light for the golden Aspen trees. Lodging has been reserved in advance at the Kaibab Lodge.
