DIA DE LOS MUERTOS FESTIVAL (Day of the Dead) at the Hollywood Forever
Cemetery on November 2, 2013.
Instruction includes:
-Learning how to use a off camera flash in low light and night.
-Learning how to transform everyday life situations into powerful images.
-Learning how to quicken reflexes and become more self-assured
photographing strangers in public locations.
-Learning how to approach and photograph a portrait of a stranger.
-Learning about anti-composition, shooting from the hip, in your face,
and working a corner photography.

THE SALTON SEA - THE MAN MADE ACCIDENT - DECEMBER 6,7,8, 2013
We will photograph areas that include Salton City, Salton Shores,
Bombay Beach, Desert Beach, and Brawley. On the east side, we will visit
Slab City and Salvation Mountain built by Leonard Knight and featured
in the movie “Into The Wild.” Note that the Salton Sea is in constant
change and some of the iconic structures that have been popular to
photograph are rapidly disappearing. We will be photographing a mix of
landscapes, people, and documentary subjects.
