Kodachrome in 1959 was called Type F ISO 12
My Grandfather, Harold Blake, was an inventor (now know as engineer) by trade and he invented the florescent tube and other light bulbs for General Electric.
He was also a accomplished photographer with most of his skills in black and white processing and printing. BW was really is forte.
After he died in 1981 I inherited his thousands of BW negs and a few color shots.
I just scanned this Kodachrome he shot of San Xavier Mission in Tucson AZ in 1959. Kodachrome in 1959 was called Type F with a ASA (ISO) of 12. It was processed in K-11.
This reproduction looks almost like the original with darn good color for a slide that is 54 years old.
